Plant based Pizza Recipe.



Ingredients: 

C R U S T

2 cups organic all purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon of organic sugar

3/4 teaspoon of salt

1 packet of yeast

1/2 cup of graded zucchini (optional)

3/4 cups of warm water

Spice to your liking: We chose, basil, fresh garlic, salt and pepper

PREHEAT OVEN 350 degrees.( Or GRILL, we cooked some on the grill in foil. Holy smokes it was so good and kept the out cool) 

Please 3/4 cup of water water into bowl. Add in packet of yeast. Stir until all yeast dissolves. Set aside. Let sit for 5 minutes.

In another large bowl, add flour, salt and sugar, stir. Add in zucchini and spices, stir. 

Add in Yeast water and stir. Combine all ingredients until it forms a large dough ball. Knead the dough until it is smooth texture and in a nice round ball. Put in bowl and cover. Set aside for at least an hour in a draft free space. The dough should double in size.

TOPPINGS:

Choose a pasta sauce or pizza sauce that is fairly low in sodium and/or added salt. ( you can omit all together if you would like.) 

Add sauce, more spices ( we like a lot, don't be scared of spices) and your favorite vegetables. 

We love:

potatoes

spinach

zucchini

onions

olives

garlic

fresh herbs

and fresh tomatoes
